MICHAEL MALLOY

Michael T. Malloy YARDLEY, PA Michael T. Malloy of Yardley, PA, died peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He was 56. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late John F. and Jeanne M. Hyland Malloy. Michael served as the supervisor of clerks for the Appellate Court of New Jersey. He cared deeply about social justice, particularly racial and gender discrimination and bias. Personally, he was friendly, affectionate, and hilarious. An accomplished cook and joke teller, he loved rugby, golf, fishing, and jazz. Most of all, he loved his daughters, Bridget and Kelly. He often dropped by their school to play with them during lunch and recess breaks, sometimes arriving with unexpected gifts like a huge tray of french fries to share with Kelly and her friends. He will be greatly missed by everyone who had the pleasure to know and love him. Michael is survived by his loving and devoted daughters, Bridget and Kelly Malloy of Yardley, and his siblings, John Malloy of Levittown, Patricia Grubb of Sedona, AZ, Jeanne Malloy of Ewing, NJ, and Amy Bado of Newark, DE. Michael's family will receive friends on Saturday, June 11, from 9 a.m. until his Memorial Mass at 10:30 a.m. in The Church of the Sacred Heart, 343 South Broad St., Trenton, NJ 08608.
