We think about Mike all the time. He is gone too soon. Mike was our son's best friend. We continue to pray for Beth and his children, and for his parents and siblings. We pray for God's comfort and peace through a really difficult situation. We will see Mike again someday in heaven, and for that assurance, we find comfort.

Mike was my best friend. We grew up together, and were buddies beginning in 1988 when we were both kids. We remain friends for 31 years up until his death, and we are friends in a spiritual sense now. I loved Mike's humility, humor, his love for people. I greatly admire his willingness to serve his country in the Air Force. Friendly. Godly. Decent. A loving father and husband. A great friend, son, brother, volunteer in his church. That's who Mike was. Just an awesome guy. He is a hero to me. I think about him every day, and shed tears over his passing. But I will see him in heaven someday. Prayers for his family at this time.

It must be so difficult to lose a loved child, husband, father and citizen even with the knowledge that his home is now a better place. Our thoughts, prayers and concern for the Maxey family are offered. We only wish we could have been present with his larger church family today.

My condolences to the Family. Thank you for your service to our Country. I didn't know him, but he's an American Soldier, that is leaving behind his Wife, kids, and Family. What more is there to say.

I went to college with Mike and he always had such a positive attitude and big smile. He was there to encourage and be a positive light to others. He will be missed by many. Prayers to his friends and family during this time.

Mike was a great friend to everyone he met. In our days in college, I never witnessed him having a bad day. He bought my first guitar. Always smiling.
Praying for you all!
