Magic Mike was that amazing candle in this world. He lit up so many candles. He touched the life of every person who was fortunate to cross his path. He will always be remembered as a truly kind and loving human being. He lived this life to its fullest in terms of the virtues he lived by. The greatest virtue is perhaps love, and I believe he lived by and practiced that virtue in all aspects of his life .This world is better and brighter because of Magic Mike

I remember him from Juan Crespi, 1974 we were playing baseball and some kid twice my size kept harassing me, I told him repeatedly to stop, he wouldn't. I finally had enough and reached out punched him and bloody his nose. He started crying to coach McLaughlin and he just told him he deserved it as I asked him to stop several times. Coach later told me he was proud of me and he would have done the same thing. He tought me a good lesson that day to always stand up for myself. RIP coach.

Coach was an incredible man!! I had him as a PE teacher in 70 &71. His easy going style and fun approach to life made him a favorite. Later in life we reconnected briefly and I proudly wear a McLaughlin coffee T-shirt and drink their coffee. RIP coach, and know you made an impression on this man. Thank you!!

Mr. McLaughlin was my PE teacher at Juan Crespi 1970 and 71 he made it a fun experience! He was a huge George Blanda fan and was a pretty good field goal kicker himself! I remember him kicking footballs against the gym , and he drove a beautiful green Jaguar XKE convertible! Much love to his family

I miss you Mike. You made my attachment to you so easy. I will never forget those pranks and your friendly smile. When I was around you, I forgot that I was a nurse and it seemed I was visiting a close friend. Safe journey and rest in peace. Your nurse and friend-Anil
