MISIRLAKIS, Michael:
On 3 May 2023 Michael unexpectedly passed away in Levin, New Zealand, at the age of 64. He was born in Chania, Crete, on 29 August 1958. Michael is the much loved and respected father of Anastasios and Erini. He is survived by his mother, Sofia and sister, Stella. He is much loved by his relatives and friends in Australia, New Zealand and Crete. The viewing will be held on Wednesday, 10 May between 6-8pm at Harbour City Funeral Home, 56 Onepu Road, Kilbirne, Wellington. Messages to the Misirlakis family may be left in Michael's tribute book at www.tributes.co.nz or posted c/- PO Box 14-366, Kilbirnie, Wellington 6241. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Greek Orthodox Cathedral may be left at the service. The Trisagio will take place at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral "O Evangelismos tis Theotokou" (Annunciation of the Birth giver of God), 3 Hania Street, Mount Victoria on Thursday 11th May at 11.00am. The funeral service will take place in Sydney, Australia, at Saint Euphemia in Bankstown. Date and time to be advised.
