Michael Lee Mock

Mike was a dear friend and fellow "Marching Tarheel" in the Carolina Marching, Pep, and Concert Bands. Everyone enjoyed Mike's sense of humor and his dedication to UNC and the Tarheels. I will miss our crazy band practices and stadium antics.

Mike, I hope you are at peace forever. This is from your first cousin, Jan Doub Morgan, who has many shared memories of our early childhood, when we lived on Shallowford, right across the road from you, Wayne, Pam and Uncle B. and Aunt Mary. I didn´t know that you graduated first in your class from UNC dentistry school - but it doesn´t surprise me in the least! Blessings, Cousin...

I had the privilege of working with Dr. Mock when he would come fill in at our pediatric dental office. All I can say is Dr. Mock loved us girls to come fill-in in peds! Ha!
His smile and laughter filled the room. He was very kind to all of us and offered us advice and a story at every visit. He will truly be missed!

Thinking & Praying for you all. Mike & Jan helped with boosters while our kids grow up together. He always had a story to tell. Hugs & love & prayers to all.

Elizabeth, Jonathan and family, I'm so sorry for your loss. My deepest sympathies go to you and all your family. Mike was definitely an individual and caring dentist. He loved y'all so much. I have been a Dental Hygienist in Cabarrus Co for almost 38 yrs and had the pleasure of meeting Dr Mock several times over the years but really got to know him when I started working at Smile Cabarrus where he was an associate after he sold his practice in Mt Pleasant. He filled in many times and I was blessed to see how the patients loved and respected him and we had some great conversations about dentistry but life in general. He loved Jan so much and I saw his heartbreak when she passed. He always talked about his kids and grandkids. Prayers for the family and he and Jan are now together again! God Bless
