Mike and I met as high schoolers in The Pass and through the decades we had long periods of separation due to different careers and localities. Despite the gaps, whenever we were reconnected, we always quickly returned to the laughing funloving youngsters we once were. Even though The Pass changed first by Camille and then by Katrina we kept the memories of our youth there alive. In the summer of 2022 just before he moved to Texas we drove around the locations of all of our earlier adventures and we we had the greatest lunches. I cannot say friends forever about many, but with Mike I can say friends always and morecthan that Mike was one of the finest most thoughtful and most caring persons I ever met. Despite some very tough times, Mike never complained and Mike never lost his bright outlook. I keep his 2022 Christmas and New Years note for inspiration and guidance. He had just left his beloved home in the Pass but he said twice in the last paragraph, Life is good. Mike, thanks for the memories. Rest in peace. Your friend, Andy

I met Mike & Eileen when we all worked at GE in San Jose Calif. That was in about 1970. Mike & I played golf on the same team in the GE golf league where we won the league championship. We also played softball . but on different teams. I left GE in 1974 and went to work for a large construction company where I wound up in Houston Texas. Mike called one day and came to Houston for an interview. He took the job in Houston and he & Eileen bought a house about 2 blocks from my house in the Kleinwood subdivision in Spring Tx. We both served on the Keinwood water board. We played golg at Kingwood on a regular basis and only stopped when we joined the Raveneaux Country Club which was much closer to home. When I went thru a painful separation and ultimate divorce, Mike & Eileen provide me with temporary housing and much needed moral support. I left Spring in 1981 And only saw the Morgans a couple times a year and had an occasional phone conversation. When Eileen passed, Mike came to stay with us in the quiet small town in Indiana where I live for some much needed time to grieve and some quiet solitude. He came back the next couple of years to relax and replenish.
When my wife died in 2009, Mike called frequently and offered his normal sage advise which helped with my grief. We talked on the phone 3 to 4 times a year. When COVID hit Mike he fought courageously and with great optimism. He never complained about his circumstance or let his "frail" condition get him down. I spoke to him on the phone in February of this year and he was his normal , cheerful & optimistic self. Our lives had many parallels . I cherished my long friendship with the Morgans and remember and miss them.
Mike and Eileen are united once again and the world is a better place because of their presence.

What can you say about Mike Morgan? That he was a kind, decent man. And that he had a very good mind and philosophy of life. I so enjoyed our road trip on your move to Mansfield, Texas! Us and the two cats. So grateful that I got to share in that adventure with you. Fly high, Mike Morgan, I'll see you on the other side! ♥

Michael was the kindest person. He was only in the neighborhood a short while but always up for a chat abd just an incredibly kind soul and always smiling. When my mother in law was in town she always made sure to send down homemade gorditas or this last time tamales.
Was saddened to hear of his passing but also know he was a believer so God Speed Michael see you on the flip side and we will catch up
