I think we met as fellow parents sitting on the HHS bleachers watching our kids polevault. I know that's how I met Mike. He was such a polite young man, eye catching red hair, tall & quick to smile. He also gave his all to the vault. John always said it was the hardest sport due to the physical & mental perfection needed to not land on your head! Now you have been faced with his loss which I can't begin to know how hard this must be. I have had you in my prayers from the beginning and will keep you & Mike there in the coming years. The news of Michael's death has left us saddened for you and your family. You are constantly in our prayers. Words do not seem to be enough but the power of prayer does.
