Mowers, Michael J. Family and friends mourn the unexpected loss of Michael on November 21, 2007, at the age of 22. Loved and dearly missed by his parents Patrick and Cathy (Becker) Mowers of Sturgeon Bay, his sister Megan Mowers of Frankfurt, Germany, and his grandparents John and Nancy Becker of Two Rivers. Beloved nephew of Suya Mowers, Michael (Susan) Mowers, Tom (Linda) Mowers, Susanna Mowers, Barb MacDonald, Mary Sue (Mark) Grimm, Tricia ( Lonnie) Montney, Pam (Angus) McFarlane. Also survived by many loving cousins, relatives and friends. A visitation will be held January 4, 2008, from 4PM until 7:30PM, at Schramka-Densow Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held on January 5, 2008, at 10:30AM. at Lumen Christi Catholic Church (2700 W. Mequon Rd., Mequon, WI). Michael graduated from Homestead High School in 2003, and was currently attending UW-Madison. In lieu of flowers and in honor of Michael's love for animals, donations to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) are appreciated. I think we met as fellow parents sitting on the HHS bleachers watching our kids polevault. I know that's how I met Mike. He was such a polite young man, eye catching red hair, tall & quick to smile. He also gave his all to the vault. John always said it was the hardest sport due to the physical & mental perfection needed to not land on your head! Now you have been faced with his loss which I can't begin to know how hard this must be. I have had you in my prayers from the beginning and will keep you & Mike there in the coming years.
