On May 7, 2011, Michael A., 55, of Penn Hills (formerly of Oakmont) died at his residence. Dear Husband of Lisa Thiry Mszyco; son of Lois ( Sippper) and the late Michael A. Mszyco, Sr.; dear Father to Melissa (Peter) DeVito, Amy (Eric) Selick and Kristen Mszyco. Brother of Carol (Jack) Condron, Joan (and the late Michael) Hutfles, Mark (Susan) Mszyco, James (Annette) Mszyco, John Mszyco and Paul (Cindy) Mszyco; beloved Pappy to Isabella, Mia, Gianna DeVito and Ava Mszyco; son-in-law of Gerald and Joanne Thiry; stepfather to Michelle, Lindsay and Thomas Schlick; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Friends and relatives will be received Monday 7-9 Tuesday 2-4, 7-9 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday 10 a.m. St. Irenaeus Catholic Church Oakmont. Family suggest memorials to Animal Friends 562 Camp Horne Rd. Pgh., PA 15237.

As a neighbor for the last four years, Mike was one of the most mild mannered ,easy going guys I've ever met. My Dad knew him since he was a kid, he was always this way. Sad to see him go. Rest in Peace my friend,may all of your pain vanish.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Michaels death. I grew up with him and we were boyhood friends, he was with out a doubt one of the kindest, gentlest people I have ever known. RIP old friend.

To All Of Mike's family: Mike was one of the most loving people we have had the pleasure of knowing. He was a loving husband to my Neice, Lisa. He loved his Mother beyond what words could say. His children were his world, and his Grandchildren were his heart....Any man who knows who "Sponge Bob Square Pants" is, as well as all his friends, is OK in my book!! God has a special plan for Michael, we may not understand, but know he is out of pain and watching over all who loved him. Rest in Peace Mike, we love you.
