Michael Joseph Perazzo, 50
Loving son, father, and devoted husband
Michael Perazzo passed away unexpectedly at his home on Staten Island, N.Y., on Sunday, March 18, 2018.
Michael was born on Nov. 5, 1967, in Staten Island, N.Y. He was a loving father and devoted husband throughout his 21 years of marriage.
Michael, an alumnus of St John's University, worked as an assistant principal and basketball coach at Transit Technical High School in Brooklyn, N.Y. His greatest joy was spending time and traveling with his wife and children.
He is survived by his wife, Marina; children, Michael, Alexandra, and Jill; father, Leonard, mother, Lola, brother, Stephen, sister, Lola Ann, and niece, Lianna.
Michael will also be missed by friends and former basketball players on whom he left an indelible mark.
Viewing services and a memorial will be held at Hanley Funeral Home on Thursday, March 22, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Michael's name to: "Express Scholar Athlete Foundation, Inc.," c/o The Villani Law Group, PLLC, 435 77th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11209.

I'm sorry for your loss Perazzo family. Mr. P was a great coach and mentor to all those who needed him, while he is in a better place I understand the grieving process honestly has no time limit.
