Chris was one of the bravest, strongest young men I have ever known. I would call after treatments to see how he was doing and if I could help with side effects and he was always "okay". I admire his strong spirit and know he is now happy and feeling well. My prayers are with his awesome family from whom he learned to be who he was.

I think it is about time that I sign this guest book. Chris was a great friend and neighbor over these past few years. He was always so funny and perfectly sarcastic! I enjoyed talking with him, and trash talking his fantasy football team. Even though this year he could still win the entire season! I enjoyed many great and wonderful times with Chris that I cherish, and I truly look forward to seeing him again. Hopefully, he can squeeze me into his busy bowling schedule! I will always cherish in my heart those last few moments that I spent with Chris. He had such a strong spirit. I truly felt of his pure love for me and my family, and also for his own family. I will never forget those sweet precision last moments with him. I love Chris like a brother. I also dearly adore his family. I am here if you need anything. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Chris was one of my best friends. Over the last 8 years that I've known him, I never saw him truely angry. He was always happy and upbeat. I will always cherish the time I spent getting to know him and the friendship that we developed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone he left behind. I hope there is comfort in knowing we will see him again someday.

Words cannot express how sorry I am for your loss. I worked closely with Chris these last few years, and was so lucky to get to know him on a personal level. We went to lunch together daily, and would play foos-ball every chance we could get. He was so fun to be around and was never a sore looser even though I always beat him. :) He always had a positive out-look on life, and was always willing to lend a helping had or give words of advice when I would be having a bad day. He was such a good example to me. He has touched my life in so many ways, and I will never forget him.

To Chris' family:

I had the opportunity assist in caring for Chris this last while. I quickly recognized that he was a wonderful giant of a soul trapped in a very sick body. I'm happy that he is at peace now. May God bless your family.

Thank you for raising such a wonderful young man. I have only know Chris briefly, through the marriage of my daughter to Chris's friend Jeff. Chris was always there to help move with a smile on his face and always very kind.
Our deepest sympathy on the loss of your son, brother and friend. Our earthly loss and heavens gained a great missionary for our Savior!

Chris worked alongside me for six months in the mission field. He changed my life forever. It was a wonderful experience to labor together with him and taste the sweet rewards of the harvest in the work of the Lord. I will miss him - especially his sense of humor. I look forward to the day when, through the grace of Christ, we may meet again.

I was in Chris' group in the MTC, and served many days with him in DK. I am shocked to hear of this. He was a friend and peer--one of only a few who shared that noble experience with me on the mission. I am profoundly sorry for your loss.

'Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born.'

Chris met us on his mission in Denmark. And a longlasting friendship started.

In 2004 we met his family for the first time and they took us into their family like we were one of their own. Since that we have visiting our US family at least once a year.

Chris was a inspirational and loving friend and we loved to hang out with him, and we look back on all our memories from our vacation together.

We love you and you will always be our friend, so if you need someone to talk too, you know how to contact us :)

To the family, thanks for everything. You are all the best family one could wish for.

Love you all.

I first met Chris while he was on his Mission in Denmark. He befriended our Daughter, Kami while she was living there. When he returned home, they continued a friendship and he came to our home on several occassions. I always found him to be an upbeat wonderful young man with a great character. He has been a good example for our daughter and I express much saddness in his passing. He accomplished what he was supposed to and will continue his mission in a greater sphere. This I know. My hope and prayer to all who he left behind a comfort and peace that will be sustained until we meet him again.
