MICHAEL PINTEK Obituary
Age 65, of Pittsburgh, on September 12, 2018. Son of the late Carl and Mary (Berwager) Pintek; beloved partner of Linda (Vergobbi) Guiler; and her daughter, Hadley Guiler; loving brother of Mary Ann (Dennis) Krynock; cherished uncle of Heather Murphy and Mandy Rishel. Friends received on Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at SCHELLHAAS & SONS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1600 Stone Mansion Drive, Sewickley, PA 15143 (Franklin Park/Wexford). Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to UPMC Hillman Cancer Center; GI Transformational Research Fund, Office of Development, 5150 Centre Avenue, Suite 1B, Pittsburgh, PA 15232. I sometimes reflect on our 24 years of marriage and the renewal of our friendship at the end of your life. I feel blessed that we could say goodbye with affection when the time came. I know your loved ones must miss you still and I ask for comfort for those who morn.

Mike may you rest in God's gracious hands. I was a loyal listener of your show and have and will miss you greatly. It was always a breath of fresh air to hear your voice and your views. What I especially liked was that you were never fakey and stood for your beliefs as everyone should do. No one will every be able to replace you.

Mike, I always loved your "Too Stupid To Live" segment on the radio. Laughter is just what I needed to start the day especially with some of the jobs I had to endure.
