Michael was my friend whom I'll miss very much.
We hadn't seen one another since 2017 but we texted every now and again. Michael could light up a room just by being in it
I hope he found the peace he was searching for when we last saw each other
Rest sweet man and know you will be in my thoughts as you may be gone but I will never forget you

I was almost 5 when I met Mike, He was my first friend. We lost track of each other in gradeschool, then reconnected on Facebook in 2017. Over the years we have realized that many times our lives and our paths had crossed and we didn't know it. We had become close. This was so sudden and unexpected, I haven't the words to convey the saddness I feel for your loss. I pray you find peace.

I met Mike for the first time in 2001-ish when his sister-in-law and I went to Illinois to visit his brother Billy. We we're kids! What an adventure! His sense of humor will always resonate within my soul. I'm so saddened to learn of his passing. May he, and everyone who knew him find peace and comfort. Hugs and prayers for you all. ❤
