Michael Quist

Quist, Michael Michael John Quist, age 57, of Grand Rapids, passed away at home after a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his mother Diane Quist. He will be deeply missed by his father Greg Quist; sister Terri (John) Van Kampen; brother Todd (Joni) Quist; children Nick Doornbos, Sarah Quist, Joshua Quist, Haley Quist; 4 grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. He was a mechanic for over 30 years. He had the ability to fix anything. He loved motorcycles, classic cars, hunting, and fishing - anything outdoors. He was the most generous person; he would help anyone in need. He was a lover of animals and always had his dog by his side. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 31, at 7 P.M. with visitation from 6:00-7:00P.M. before the service. Services will be held at Woodlawn CRC Ministry Center, 3190 Burton Street SE.
