Michael Roy Richards of Lockport, passed away unexpectedly, April 3, 2010 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Michael was born October 8, 1960 in Lockport, the son of the late Roy S. and Doris Lutz Richards. He was a supervisor at Niagara Thermal Products where he worked for the past 23 years. He enjoyed NASCAR, hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Rose Fleming Richards; father of Michael J. Richards of Newfane; and grandfather of April Renee, Caden and Cody Richards. Michael also was the brother of Patricia (Jim) Kuthy of Colorado, Deborah Boyer of Lockport and the late Kathryn Tetrault; son-in-law of Red and Donna Fleming; and brother-in-law of Sherri Fleming, all of Lockport; and also leaves several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, where funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 11 AM. Memorials to the American Cancer Society, 101 John James Audubon Pkwy., Buffalo, NY 14228-1111 or Roswell Park Cancer Institute, PO Box 631, Buffalo, NY 14240-0631 in Michael's memory would be appreciated by the family.
