It is with enormous pleasure that I say thank you to everyone who came to Mick's funeral. It would have brought a tear to his eye to know that in his 75 years he touched so many people. The cards, letters and calls run into hundreds. It is an overwhelming experience. Thank you to the Rev Emma Davies and J. Stamp and Sons for their great service. The retiring collection raised over £450 for St. Andrews Church, North Kilworth. Thank you to Andrew at The Shires Inn, Peatling Parva for a magnificent spread. Mick says have a pint on him. Most of all to our beautiful daughters, Rebecca and Phillippa, who pulled out all the stops to implement the ideas. It has made him a very proud Dad knowing they appreciated their childhood - it is all he ever wanted. We have no heavy hearts, we celebrate a healthy, happy and long life well lived.
