Miguel, words cannot express our sorrow. I remember the last time we saw you while visiting California. You fed us natural food, and then spiritual food and before we left, I was so happy to pick lemons from the lemon tree : ). You were always so giving and so kind. How we loved coming and spending time with you and Francesca. We know that we will see you again in Heaven, where we will once again see your smile and hear your laugh. You touched our lives in such a way, we will never forget. We love you and you will forever be in our heart as our friend and brother in Christ.

Love,
Ron and Susan

There's a place within our hearts
Where we keep our favorite memories
The ones that never fail to make us smile,
And when life becomes to hectic
It's such a special feeling to close your eyes and reminisce awhile.

I had the pleasure of meeting Miguel at the last DeLoera reunion. He made quite an impression on me with his friendliness and great smile. Ulisses remembers him fondly too. I remember we played the "Couples Game" with Miguel and Kika...it was a lot of fun.

Miguel was an example to me and to all of how precious life is and that we should live it to the fullest.Miguel did just that... He truly had the joy of the Lord and is with Jesus now.

Tia Kika...you are in my prayers. Love you.

Oh, please don't feel guilty
It was just my time to go.
I see you are still feeling sad,
And the tears just seem to flow.
We all come to earth for our lifetime,
And for some it's not many years
I don't want you to keep crying
You are shedding so many tears.
I haven't really left you
Even though it may seem so.
I have just gone to my heavenly home,
And I'm closer to you than you know.
Just believe that when you say
my name, I'm standing next to you,
I know you long to see me,
But there's nothing I can do.
But I'll still send you messages
And hope you understand,
That when your time comes to
“cross over,” I'll be there
to take your hand.

Miguel my mentor and friend. You adopted my family as your own and loved me as a son. My children will always remember you as their loving Grandpa. You are the greatest man I ever knew and lifted me up in my darkest hour. Your legacy of selfless love will continue to change lives as we who knew you strive to be more like you.

Dad…so many images come to mind
whenever I speak your name;
It seems without you in my life
things have never been the same.

What happened to those lazy days
when I was just a child;
When my life was consumed in you
in your love, and in your smile.

What happened to all those times
when I always looked to you;
No matter what happened in my life
you could make my gray skies blue.

Dad, some days I hear your voice
and turn to see your face;
Yet in my turning…it seems
the sound has been erased.

Dad, who will I turn to for answers
when life does not make sense;
Who will be there to hold me close
when the pieces just don’t fit.

Oh, Dad, if I could turn back time
and once more hear your voice;
I’d tell you that out of all the dads
you would still be my choice.

Please always know I love you
and no one can take your place;
Years may come and go
but your memory will never be erased.

Today, Jesus, as You are listening
in your home above;
Would you go and find my dad
and give him all my love.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Eron, Jeff and family, I can't begin to express how deeply sorry I am for your tragic loss. Miguel was a wonderful person and I will miss him very much. A typical Sahagun, he was always upbeat and happy. He never failed to greet me with a huge smile and a warm hug. I'm honored to have known him and for that, I will be forever greatful. My heart goes out to all of his loved ones.
