Dear Geri Bob, Jackie & Jessy, I was shocked and saddened to learn about Mickey's passing. My heart bleeds for you. I had an unlikely and very memorable encounter with Mikey a year ago on 3/7/14 at 2 AM, when Mikey stumbled upon me, locked out of my car at a local gas station. He (and his friend) offered to do anything and everything possible to help me out of my jam. And did. After 1 1/2 hours of shuttling me around town in an effort to retrieve my spare key, I was able to get back into my car and go on my way. During this time I saw a Mikey much different than the rascal that hung out at my house during the Willow Grove years. He exuded not just caring & sensitivity, but a maturity and respect that left me glowing about the man I was now getting to know. Our rendezvous around town gave us time to talk and that we did... talking life beyond the surface. I will always remember our encounter with very fond memories. Such a caring and sensitive soul, trying to right his ways. I was so happy for him. I know this is one of the worst imaginable journeys you could all be on. I pray for your strength and that with the help of family, friends, and our community at large, your fond, loving memories of everything Mikey, will help carry you on. With love, Karen
