I remember visiting Michael at Sundance Expeditions as a kid and how pretty and green it was out there. I remember Michael and Michelle's wedding and the attempted breaking of the glass at the ceremony. Michael was funny and always recognized me in the family as his sister. I remember skiing together and watching him and Michelle grow in life. I cannot believe how much he looks like Dad (same with Rick). I'm sorry to hear about his passing and yet, today, was a reflection of some more positive and fun childhood memories. My thoughts and prayers to Michelle and the entire family.

I met Michael "Sky" and Michelle "Showgirl" 5 years ago when we were all volunteering for First Descents at their Rogue River Home. This was my first introduction to FD, and Sky and Showgirl were there volunteering as camp "Mom and Dad". During the week we spent together I felt such a connection to them. I especially remember the stories they told of their involvement with Sundance Kayak and losing then repurchasing their Rogue home.
Sky was not feeling well that week. I remember all of us being concerned as he had to spend much of the week laying down. We later learned of his cancer diagnosis. It was so ironic that they were using their Rogue River House to run camps for young people affected by cancer, volunteering their time that week, and then his being diagnosed himself. May Sky's memory be a blessing. Sending all my best to Showgirl and family. xxBM (Jonah Chasin)

Ken & I met Michael & Michelle on an adventure in Ecuador in 2017 while celebrating our mutual dear friends' Lisa Jaffe and Jeff Salz's Honeymoon trip. We immediately fell in love with both of them...their deep love and connection so palpable... their depth, brilliance, love of life and huge hearts so endearing and magnetic...and of course Michael's huge smile and delight with life. He was and is a huge soul who shines brightly. Such a gift to have shared time together. His physical presence here will be deeply missed.

He was five years older than me. I idolized him. He was a mover and a shaker. As a senior in high school, class of 1970, he organized the effort to abolish the high school dress code which is clearly documented by the pictures in his class yearbook. He was one of the two speakers at his graduation, and was selected as one of the two AFS students who went abroad the summer after graduation.
He was an agent for change and a student of self-discovery and he carried that enthusiasm through the businesses he helped create. He was extremely resourceful.
Most importantly, he cared about others and was dedicated to his family. His love for us was so strong that it will never leave us; he will never leave us.

One of my earliest memories are Michael's masterful handling of competing factions at Temple meetings . He was a great listener

I got to know Michael through the Possibility workshops. I remember him as being extremely kind and someone who really "noticed" you. He took the time to listen closely. He was always smiling and making us all laugh. I remember him telling us the story when he was trying to lose weight and eat healthy with Michelle, mean while he was sneaking off getting burgers sometimes. He had the whole room laughing with his storytelling.
Condolences to the family! He was a wonderful human being and will be missed by all!

I was honored to be part of Possibilities level one and two. Michael was always supportive and there with a knowing smile during the challenging times. He left such an indelible mark on my life and he and Michelle hold such a special place in my heart.
My thoughts and heart go out to Michelle and the whole family

Michael changed lives and businesses for the better. I was blessed to meet Michael (and Michelle!)in the early days of PREP. While a small business it changed lives and the Sauls are forever linked to moving my business forward technologically, spiritually and all with a beautiful expansion of fun and community. Michael is always remembered!
Michael is one of the best people I've ever known and together with your mom have touched this world personally and through their work in ways that usher in kindness, peace, respect, wisdom, live and courage to be more, do better and keep the faith that makes life worth living.
Blessings and so much love, knowing Michael is free to be everywhere now and I give so much thanks for the opportunity to have known him for so many years. My deepest condolences with so much gratitude and love.

I first met Michael when he & Michelle gifted our friends a transformational leadership weekend in San Diego. He was so warm & kind & funny & created a space for all of us that was fun but also safe. I´ve since taken his Possibilities seminar with him & Michelle, spent time with them at DJ´s wedding & stayed in touch over the years. His smile & laugh will stay with me always, and his love & marriage with Michelle is what we all should aspire towards. Rest in peace, Michael. You will be so dearly missed by so so many people, especially me.

Michael always made me laugh and smile. He really 'got' my dry, deadpan, punny sense of humor. Even when I thought he wasn't listening and nobody else had acknowledged it, he'd always pick up on some silly quip I dropped and chuckle. Sometimes, if I was really on my A-game that day, I'd also earn a "that's good!". Michael was so funny, a true connoisseur of fun, humor and joy.
