We just returned from the first Savage Lake Winnie vacation without Big Brother Mike and MaryAnn. In Mike's honor, we all wore brightly colored Hawaiian shirts--partially unbuttoned--to the Monday night potluck. Bill Heig, the resort owner, spoke of Mike and how he, with the help of brother Doug got the family vacation organized nearly 30 years ago. We had a moment of silence in his remembrance. My family and I are grateful to Mike for helping us to know the importance of family and spending time together. We know Mike was there in spirit as he lives on in our hearts and memories. I'd love to be privy to the conversations he is having with the Lord. I wonder what kind of "scams" he's dreaming up? Miss you Mike. Your sister, Mary Jo

Hi dad! I am thinking of you with each step I take, thank you so much for being a great dad. You were a bare knuckles kind of dad who didn't bother with the details, you went right in. Thanks for that! Scott Savage
