Mike was a wonderful brother-in-law and yes had a very dry sense of humor. He loved answering texts with just one word...acknowledged. He loved wearing his fedora hat everywhere and had quite a few. He was very devoted to his family. Most of all he made my sister happy and respected her. He will definitely be missed.

Mike was such an incredible and caring person. His sense of humor was dry but boy could he make you laugh. What a peace knowing he is swimming laps with Pat and telling stories of days gone by. Mike is loved and will be missed until we see him again. Much love, Janet Wright Beard

My memories of Mike revolve around the Sunset swim team, i was on the Women's team & remember Mike as an amazing swimmer, very competitive ...he also had those "swimmer shoulders", he & Pat loved playing pranks on their teammates. More recently the last few years I have become acquainted with his lovely wife Karen & looked forward to seeing them @ Sunset Alumni monthly gatherings...where his dry & quick wit kept us all laughing. He always shared a tidbit of his life adventures, circling back to his dedication to his family. Our conversations without fail included testimonies to his faith in Chirst as his Savior.....he had no fear or doubts of his eternal life. He will be missed here.

He had a dry and goofy sense of humor. He had a great laugh and a caring heart. Most of all though, he brought my aunt joy. He is missed.

Mike & Pat were my baby brothers. I could write a million memories of them and not even scratch the surface of the goodness of their lives. They were both good men and wonderful brothers and we will all miss them until we see them again. The comfort, for me, lies in knowing that these two great guys have been reunited. Thanks to all who loved Mike, offering prayers and good wishes. It meant a lot to him. JS
