Shewmake, Jr. Michael W. of Terrell, TX, born January 6, 1970, passed away Jan 4, 2003. Michael is survived by his wife, Jody Shewmake, children: Shane, Taylor and Whitney Shewmake; mother, Carolyn & husband, Ben Cranor, father, Michael W. Shewmake, Sr. & wife, Holly, half sister, Suzanne Shewmake, step-brother, Jeffrey Cranor, grandparents, George Shewmake, and Arlene & Phil Ryan, mother & father-in-law, Rosemary & Roy White. The family will receive friends and family at the funeral home from 5 pm to 8 pm, Monday, January 6. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, January 7, 2003 at Laurel Oaks Funeral Home Chapel in Mesquite with Rev. Jerry Griffin officiating. Interment will follow at Laurel Oaks Memorial Park in Mesquite. Memorials may be made to the Terrell Christian Academy, 805 Johnson Street, Terrell, TX 75160.

although i did not know Michael, my heart is heavy none the less for you. i am a cousin also. my father, bruce, was first cousin with J.B. Shewmake. just know that our Lord is able to see us through all things and that tough times like these will hopefully only bring us closer to Him. seek His comfort. He will not deny you. now draw on the kindred spirits of family both near and far to assure you that you are not alone in your grief today.
