My sincere condolences to his family and long time friends. I just met Mike in June of 2023 at our community pool. We talked while we did laps and he knew I was going thru some big life changes. He was the first to open his door to me and asked me to come over. He made me feel right at home. We played Pickleball (my first time) and went for rides on his golf cart. We even danced one night! He always offered to help me when I needed it. Like when my car window broke or when our cactus fell from the record breaking Arizona summer. He was kind, intelligent and had so many great life experiences. He had amazing stories....I could tell it made him happy when he reminisced of a time and place. He was outspoken. I respected his brutal honesty the most. I think everyone crosses paths in life for a reason. I am so grateful I got to meet Mike because he believed in me. You went too soon my friend, but I will never forget you. Kerrie

I met Mike over the summer at the pool. We had some good times together. Wish i could've been there for his service. The last steak we had together. I'll miss you old friend...Smokey

Mike was my younger brother and was always special to me. I followed him to most of his Air Force assignments, but his first was in Bangor, Maine and he took me to Boston and showed me around. Everywhere I visited him and his family, we always felt welcomed. One of my favorite places he lived was in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, what a beautiful place. He will live on in my heart forever and so will our precious memories.
