Michael Slankard, 70, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2025, in Dover, New Hampshire. Born on February 25, 1955, in Corona, California, Michael lived a life marked by dedication to his craft, deep love for his family, and a generous spirit that touched all who knew him.

Michael spent many years working in construction, where his skill and work ethic earned him the respect of colleagues and clients alike. In the later part of his career, he brought his talents to Warner Brothers Studios. There, he played a vital role in building movie sets and contributing to television productions-leaving behind not only physical structures but also a legacy woven into the fabric of entertainment history.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Michael was a man of many passions. He found joy in woodworking and spent countless hours crafting with care and precision. Fishing trips offered him peace and reflection, while building model airplanes allowed him to combine creativity with technical skill. A lover of film and history, he enjoyed watching movies and tuning into the History Channel. At home, he took great pleasure in feeding birds and squirrels-small acts that reflected his big and kind heart.

Family was at the center of Michael's world. He is lovingly remembered by his sons: Michael Slankard and his wife Denise Slankard; Jeff Slankard and his wife Manu Slankard. His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Alexis Slankard, Michael Slankard, Jonathan Slankard, Sarah Slankard, Derek Slankard, and Benjamin Slankard; as well as his great-grandson Xander Suntheimer.

Michael was preceded in death by his beloved wife Michelle Slankard in September 2020; his youngest son Tim in November 2020; his mother Joan Bearden in January 2025; and his great-granddaughter Xiomara Suntheimer earlier this year.

A Celebration of Life will be held on May 25, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Slankard's Home located at 145 Beauty Hill Road, Barrington, New Hampshire 03825. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of a man whose warmth and generosity left an indelible mark on those around him.

May Michael's memory bring comfort to those who knew him and serve as a lasting reminder of a life well lived.
