Michael Souders Obituary
Michael P. Souders, 55, of Wernersville, passed away April 6, 2016, at 1:00 a.m. in ManorCare Health Services, Laureldale, where he was a guest.
He was the husband of Jenny R.
(Edwards) Souders. On September 2nd they would have been married 8 years. Born in Reading, he was a son of Harry E. Souders Jr. and Fay L. (Slusser) Souders.
He was a truck driver for Praxair, Lancaster, for many years, retiring August 2015.
Mike was a 1980 graduate of Muhlenberg High School and was a Colonel in the Eastern PA Regional Militia. He served as a leader for Project 912, Patriot Group and published the "912 Gazette." He was often on Patriot radio program with June McWilliams. He loved fishing, Patriot rallies, being outdoors and road trips.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sisters, Diane M., wife of William Houck, Riverview Park, Michelle A., wife of Gregory Alesin, Wyomissing, and his niece, Terri L. Souders, fiancée of Patrick Woody, Reading.
Michael and Gilbert H. Smith considered each other brothers since they did not have any of their own.
Funeral services from Klee Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., One East Lancaster Ave., Shillington, on Friday, April 15, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Philip Von will officiate. Entombment in Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum, Laureldale. Viewing Thursday, April 14th, from 6-8 p.m. and Friday 12 noon - 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Penn State Health – St. Joseph, Cancer Treatment Center, 2500 Bernville Road, Reading, PA 19605.
To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Seems like such a long time, and in some ways like it was just yesterday. Miss your wisdom and clear ways of seeing things, miss your grin and that sparkle in your eyes when you looked at Jen. The love you two shared could light up a room. Miss Jen and hope she feels the love and support of her family every day.

Michael I know you are smiling at my memorial before this one.Yes it is me your sister Michelle who counted 4yrs missing you instead of 5yrs 4/6/21.Remembering when you and I had the wrong Wedding Anniversary years on Mom&Dad's Anniversary Cake,we both were sure and we were both wrong,I can still hear your laughter and saying oh Schell ,don't worry,blame it on me.I miss those good old days back then.I will leave you with the laugh of all times,Mom laughing on

Hard to believe it has been this long. I miss you and Jen so much... sharing a meal, coffee, ideas and laughter, stories that did more than entertain, but also TAUGHT good and useful things.
I have faith that God has healed YOU Mike, but I miss knowing Jen is HAPPY, HEALTHY and thriving I hope as I know you would not want anything less for her either. God please continue to BLESS our "extended family" that we grew to love and trust.

Michael, we always thanked God for bring us together, we did not know the reason why, but we thanked him anyways. The Love we shared was very special ,1 of a kind,we were always together even when we were apart.... The day God took you back I cryed so hard , a piece of my heart went with you , the heart-ache was like my heart being ripped in two.You tried to let me know the Angels were there for you ,while I was reading Psalms 23 to you,but I thought it was just twitching....I know your now in Heaven with God, his Son Jesus and all the Angels. , I thank God your well again , no longer in pain , whole again, able to smell again ,travel to places you only dreamed about....Still I miss you so very much. I miss our good night kisses , our morning kisses , the welcome home from work hugs and kisses. Laughter and Tears we shared,Fishing trips,evening or day roads trips to no where. No longer will I hear your laughter , no longer will I see your mischievous smiles, No more hugs hello , No more good morning kisses, no more looking at the stars together,no more laughing at each others little mistakes or blunders, no longer will I be able to scream for your help , if I see a spiders or big bugs. I have always missed you and now that your not with us anyone more I miss you so much more, I miss fishing with you and laughing with you I miss the smallest things like just watching football with you, but at the time I hated it and to me it was the most boring thing watching people run around for a ball.
