Michael Talbert Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 13, 2022.

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Paul Talbert. He was an extraordinary man, that touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed.

Michael Paul Talbert, beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend passed away on December 23, 2021 unexpectedly. Michael was born on January 17, 1969 in Downey, CA. Michael is survived by his devoted wife of 25 years, Angelica, son Trevor, daughter Savannah, mother Sandra and father Gary (Roxanne), niece Deanna (Alvaro) Rubalcaba, and great-nephew Bryson. He was preceded in death by his sister Susan Beynon.

Michael was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and giving them the life they deserved. After years of dedication and learning the veneer business from his parents, he branched out and went into business for himself. With the help of his loving wife and partners, Talbert Architectural Panels and Doors, Inc. opened in August of 2005. There he successfully grew the business, forming many strong relationships that will leave a lasting impact on anyone he worked with.

His greatest joys were his family and friends, whom he loved spending time with. Whether it be at the river – enjoying a boat ride, home BBQ’s, group vacations, cornhole tournaments or a game of rook at the dining room table. His incredible gift of making everyone feel like family. Anyone who knew Mike knew that he was extremely kind, loving and the life of the party. His ability to tell a story and make you believe that you had been there. Always willing to whip up something to eat for a house full of guests. His family and friends will describe Mike as nothing but attentive, kind, caring, warm, hilarious and wonderful. But really, he will be missed more than words can say.

A service to celebrate his remarkable life will be held on Thursday, January 27th at 11:00am at Calvary Chapel La Habra - 1370 S. Euclid Street La Habra, CA 90631.

Mike,

You were the brother I never had. My confidant, the person I could dream with. There are no words to describe the loss I and so many people are feeling. You will forever be in the hearts of my entire family. Thank you for all of the great memories, for listening and not judging, for making me always feel welcome.

I will do my absolute best to look after your family and contribute in any way I can. I am confident we will meet again on the other side. I love you!

Although I didn’t know Michael personally, i feel as if I did. His Mom Sandy and I have known each other since 5th grade. Listening to her talk about him and his family, his talents In business and seeing the quality of his work in his home. Loved the design of their backyard and the love expressed in the beauty of the koi pond and greenery all around. My heartfelt love and prayers are with his family and friends who are missing him more than words can express. May God comfort each of you as you cherish the memories of how his life touched yours and how you were blessed by him. As the Bible says in Matthew 25:21: “Well done thou good and faithful servant ”

More than a few hearts are broken in Fair Play, SC. That crazy guy on our boat the one that chased after a 5’ black snake heading for our patioit is still hard to believe a man who loved life has found a new audience for his antics. We know he has the angels cracking up!
Our friendship was brief, but memorable. Deepest sympathies to family & friends. Rest In Peace Mike. Heaven got a good one!

Michael was an amazing son, husband and father. A true friend to have and learn from. His jokes were funny and when he pick on you, it was his way of saying , I like you. He had a very generous heart. A confidence of given abundantly, because he knew, he work to make many happy, not just his family. Had an amazing time in Laughing last September 2021, when he show us a great time, celebrating his mama’s birthday. Forever you will be in our hearts. To the family, you were given an amazing man to built memories with. He is watching over you, and trying to let you know he is in peace in the presence of the Lord.
