Michael Terkhorn Obituary
Born Oct. 5, 1953, in Seymour, he was the son of James and Maxine Terkhorn, both of whom preceded him in death.
He loved swimming and throughout his early life amassed a large number of trophies and ribbons swimming with the Brownstown Swim Team. He traveled extensively, especially to Italy. In addition, Michael was an excellent artist specializing in portraits of friends and family. He was head chef for more than 25 years at Chapman's Restaurant & Bar in Bloomington.
Survivors include his sister, Connie Langlais of Seymour; two nieces, Marcy Langlais Watson and Leigh Ann Langlais Omer, both of Louisville, Kentucky; and his partner, John Cullars of Chicago.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
Memorials may be made to Horizon Hospice and Palliative Care, 833 W. Chicago Ave., Chicago, IL 60642.
Illinois Cremation Centers in Lombard handled the arrangements.
