Michael Richard "Mike" Turpin

Michael Richard Turpin became the bearded kind king of the Turpin clan. He was born to Cecil and Ida Turpin in 1943 in Oakland CA. He joined the army and served in Germany during the Cold War. He met Cathy Adams in 1971 in Edmonton Alberta when he was a long haul truck driver for the teamsters. A life long love affair began! They married in 1973 and proceeded to start bringing beautiful babies into this world. Toby, Terry, Wendy and finally a boy... Patrick! Michael was a determined hard working provider for this lively family. After driving trucks and dump trucks he moved on to pipe-laying. His versatility, positive attitude and sense of humor were appreciated by all who worked with him.He bought a hobby farm in 1978 in Custer WA and loved raising livestock there. You could always find a faithful dog at his side as he worked his homestead. He loved his grandkids tremendously.... All 7 of them, Elexis, Destiny, Cody,Caleb, Michael, Keilei and Hayden!
