Michael Urioste Obituary
Michael Urioste, age 72, beloved "Mama's Dad" and father, was called Home on April 20, 2016.
He entered this world on July 12, 1943 in Albuquerque, NM, born to Manuel and Philomena Urioste.
Michael was very dedicated to Volkswagen for over 50 years and shared his knowledge with anyone who would listen. He was an amazing father and a huge Dodgers fan, sharing nummies with all. Michael was a goofy character bringing smiles and laughter where ever he went. He was always there no matter what.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Philomena Urioste; brothers, Bob and Ed Urioste; son, Michael Roswell Urioste; and granddaughter, Brittany Schlumpberger.
He is survived by his girlfriend, Roberta Geouge; daughters, Michelle Schlumpberger and husband Kevin, Leticia "The Only One" Urioste, Micah Urioste, Heather Urioste; grandchildren, Jayden, Jazmin, Jarod, Kelsey, Michael, Malachi, Roman, Kameron, Matthew, Raymond, Hayden, and Hailey; and many great-grandchildren.
"When the angels take me up high, I'll turn around and I'll wave bye-bye!"
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2016, 11:30 a.m., at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith NE.
