I took this pic in July, 2019 after Mike had retired. I was rummaging through the meat desk, looking for something and ran across his name badge. I took a pic and sent it to him and said "where the heck are you, we miss you here"!! My sincere condolences to his family. It was a very nice service!!

Mike was such a gem. I have to say we he stole Julie away at about 15-16 years old I was quite jealous! Much of her time was then spent with that wonderful person which she figured out at such a young age. And how could I ever be mad at a guy like Mike?! He will be so missed by every single person who knew him. Much love to all of the family.

Julie and family, it was an honor to know Mike. He was a beautiful soul, a kind hearted person with a smile and laughter that filled up a room. I had the pleasure of working along side Mike and the Meat Dept crew at Safeway in the 90´s. I am truly saddened for the loss of such a great man. We are all better people for knowing him. Much love and sympathy to you and your family.

May the road rise up to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sunshine be warm upon your face,
May the rains fall soft upon fields.
Until we meet again Mike,
May God hold you in the palm of his hand.
