Died on Thursday, December 24. Preceded in death by Father, Warren. Survived by Children, Timothy M., Kristie & Katie; Mother, Ruthanne; Brother, Timothy H. (Stephanie), & many other close Relatives & Friends. Michael was proud to be a Physician's Assistant, currently working for Health Partners and was an avid Packer fan. Services on Wednesday, December 31 at 1PM at Wulff Woodbury Funeral Home, 2195 Woodlane Dr., Woodbury, with Visitation beginning at 12PM.

Tim, I just heard about your father's death. I was so saddened. I remember so many good times with you, your dad and my son Chris when we were all about younger. The year that Mike and I coached your soccer team and won the league championship was so much fun. I tried to touch base with him every time I was at the CG clinic. I'll always remember his great smile and laugh. And his great hair (bald guys like me notice that). Great guy!!!

Words can not express how sorry I am to hear Mike has passed. What a terrific man! I worked with him in Cottage Grove and he always made me laugh even if I didn't want to. RIP Mike! God Bless you and your family and friends!

I am shocked and saddened to hear of Mike's passing. He was a great person and always made me smile. I've never been able to listen to the song Free Fallin' without singing Westerbeck's version of it. Rest in peace my friend.

To Mike's family, my deepest sympathies on your loss. I worked with him for 10 years at Allina in Cottage Grove until I moved. I always enjoyed joking around with him, his pranks and sense of humor were infectious. He always made coming to work enjoyable. And, beyond all the antics, he was kind, incredibly intelligent and exceptional at his work, you were in good hands when you were a patient of his as well. ~ Mike you were truely one of a kind and will be greatly missed by many, thanks for the fun memories, rest in peace my friend.

I haven't seen Mike since right after high school but I can't remember ever seeing him without that great big smile. He was a good athlete and an even better friend. He was one of the nicest guys in high school. My thoughts are with his family and friends. No doubt he will be missed by many.

Tim & Ruthanne and Mike's Children. So sorry for your loss! I attended high school with Mike--Class of 73. Mike was always smiling and a great friend. Great basketball player his nickname was Pistol Pete. He will deeply be missed.

Allen grew up living across the street from the Westerbecks and there was no one else he
wanted for his best man at our wedding. We both have such great memories of Mike and all the fun times we shared together.

Michael diagnosed many illnesses in my children (now 20 and 22) such as strep (mostly by smell), ear infection and UTIs when our primary physician was not available. So sorry to hear of his passing. Blessings and hope to those left behind.

I cannot believe you are gone. You always brighten up my day during work. You were professional and behind the lines a great jokster. It was a privilege to work with Mike - he always gave excellent care, was very knowledgeable, and always willing to share this with others. My weekend shifts will not be the same without his sense of humor and conversation. My sympathy to his family - Mike always talked of his children with such pride and love. He will be missed by many!
