Mike,
the year is now 2018 and i am just pulling myself together to write in this book. Our daughter is now 10 turning 11 in september. Everyday as she grows i am reminded of you, she has your icey blue eyes, your big smile and your love for animals. She is kind but also tough when she needs to be , gentle but also strong. Mercedes has so much of you in her that sometimes it hurts but it's always a blessing. You were my first REAL love Mike through all the ups and downs you still always had my back! I know you watch over her and help guide me on a day to day basis, i just wish you were here with her to watch her grow! I hope you see how much your family has been there for me and our daughter they have helped mold Mercedes into the girl she is today and like you has always had my back through the good and the bad times most of all at my worst they never gave up on me I like to think this is because of you. Now i am married and your daughter has an amazing step father who truly reminds her everyday of who you were. he didn't want her to call him dad because he said that she already has a dad who loved her very much and id never want to take from him ill be her best friend forever and her step dad but she already has a FATHER. Corey just like you is strong minded and always says what he is thinking and doesn't sugar coat it. I like to think you look down proud of where we are at and proud of how all of us have come together as a family. Most of all i am thankful that God chose me to carry and give you a child that will carry on your legacy. Mike please continue to watch over us and guide us... and know i will always hold a special place in my heart for you and i am honored to be the mother of your child!

I just dont know what to do anymore without you, all i do is sit here and cry, why did you have to go, why did you have to leave us? it wasn't your time beleive me. I never thought this would happen. Why did you have to go, why did you have to leave us? These are questions we will never know the answers to. You left so many friends and family behind that loved you. None of us want to see you gone, none of us want to believe it. You touched so many people's live's in your 21 years with us. It hurts so much knowing your not here. Dean, Kathy and Family,
I know that no words will magically make everything all better, but I still want to express my condolences for your loss. Mike was a great guy. I didn't really talk to him much in high school, but I happened to be there for the birth of his daughter and worked with him for a short time at BK. He was always so nice to everyone, and always asked about my son, born the same day as his daughter. Your son was a great guy, and is deeply missed by all.

I couldnt believe the news.
Derek and myslef spent quite a bit of time with Mike over the past few years. This is horrible, and I am so sorry for everyone morning the loss of Mike Wolf.

I hope you can take some comfort in knowing that Mikey loved you both very much and knew you both would do anything for him. He was a special boy from the time he was little till the end. He had so many good quailties about him. The things that i will use to get through this time are the ways he never left without saying goodbye, the way he said whats up Aunt Jen and he ALWAYS said I love you . He was a wonderful son, grandson, nephew, cousin ,friend but most of all he was a good dad. I will miss him very much and hold him close to my heart. Always know that I am here for both of you.

This is jus so unreal. My cousin was my best friend. He was always the person that i went running to when i got into trouble. He always had a way out of it. Mikey Joe was an amazing person with the biggest heart. He loved all animals and people. Mikey meant the world to me and it is going to take a while to heal the wound that he has left on my heart. To my family, I love you all and we will get thru this together. Its going to take love and time.

What I remember about my nephew Michael is when he was a baby I used to come home late, take him out of his crib to come and sleep with me and put him back before his dad woke up.
I spent so much time with him from him being an infant to toddler to little boy, to a teenager to an adult.
What I'm trying to say is I was involved with all of my nieces and nephews.
The things I regret is taking him out of kindergarten for a day to go to the movies and go-cart riding. Something else I regret is having him run threw my moms living room and through pillows at his legs to make him wipeout. Little stuff like watching him play baseball, football, motorcycles. Just kidding I regret nothing the time I spent with him I cherished. Hey after all he was named after me.
So watch out Mercedes your dad may have left us for now but Uncle Mike is still here and loves all of his nieces and nephews and he loves to play tricks.
