Michael Wos Obituary
He was born in Rutland, Dec. 19, 1983, son of Stanley A. and Betty (Smith) Wos.
Michael was a 2002 graduate of West Rutland High School and a former member of the West Rutland Fire Dept.
Michael was known for his huge heart and his willingness to drop everything to help others. He was an avid outdoorsman - Michael loved hunting, fishing, camp, music, photography and spending time with his family and the many friends he had near and far. To Know Michael was to Love him.
Michael was the production manager/videographer of Down N Dirty Outdoors, Inc. in Lewisburg, KY.
Surviving are his girlfriend, Alison Mullican of Owensboro, KY; mother, Betty Wos and her fiancé Joe Pietryka; his brother, Jeffrey Wos and his wife Teri and their children Emma Beede and Carter Wos; his paternal grandfather, Stanley Wos; uncle John Wos; aunt Wanda (Cha Chi) McGann and her husband Edward; cousin Mary Kay Skaza and her husband Jason and their children Hunter and Ryan, all of West Rutland; and cousin EJ McGann and his girlfriend Sarah Pariseau of Rutland.
He was preceded in death by his father Stanley A. Wos on Aug. 8, 2007, and his grandmothers Anastasia (Dolly) Wos and Shirley Smith.
Memorial contributions may be made to the West Rutland Fire Dept., West Rutland, VT 05777.
Arrangements are by the Mullin-Clifford Funeral Home.

Sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I did not know Mike well, but I remember as a little kid, he let me and my brother swim in his pool. I know he had a great love the outdoors. Let the memories of the great outdoor provide many great memories of the things Mike loved to do.

To all of Mikey's family and friends in Vermont. We are crushed to have heard the news of Mikey's passing. He was a part of our family here in Kentucky and we all loved him. This man had a heart of gold and never complained about anything even when he stayed with us for over a week after neck surgery. We were out of the country when he passed or we would have been there for his services. Please know how he was loved in Ky. and will be greatly missed. Deer and turkey season will never be the same with out him. He had a great sole and I know he will be in our hearts forever. Another angel in Heaven...Fly High, Mikey...We love you.....
