Michal Carol Roach Pleis

Michal Carol Roach Pleis, age 55, of Maumelle, Arkansas went to be with her Lord, Friday, June 11, 2004. She was born September 2, 1948 in Aurora, Colorado, a daughter of Thomas and Vivian Yeager Roach. She lived throughout the United States and Europe while providing a loving home during her husband's military career. She was a gourmet cook, talented decorator, and an accomplished horticulturist. Above all, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and daughter. She was a spiritual person, whose strength and courage, even in her darkest moments, will forever be an inspiration to all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Ron Pleis; a daughter, Carolyn Pleis Thomas; two sons, Christopher Pleis and Nick Pleis and his wife Letitia; a grandson, Dakota Thomas;her parents, Thomas and Vivian Roach; a sister, Vicky Peabody and her husband Glen;two brothers, Danny Roach and his wife Cynthia and Tim Roach; and a host of other relatives and friends. A celebration of her life will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 16, 2004 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel , 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas 72211 (501-224-8300). Another celebration of her life will be held in Denver, Colorado at a later date.
