My film En Avant l'Etoile du Nord is about to be released in Minneapolis. Mike is in it and has been a great help at the time I started investigating for it. Those who loved him will be able to see him in the film. I keep the best memory of that gentle man, so helpful, so cheerful and so missed today.

I remember Mike and Michelle at St Thomas.
I am not sure, but I think we had Drama with Prof. Foy freshman year, first semester. Mike stood out as one of the nice guys on campus. I know that he will be missed.

My sincere sympathy to the Feltault family. I met Mike as a freshman at St. Thomas and we became good friends. We were room mates our sophomore year in Ireland Hall and I will never forget him. I was shocked and saddened to hear of his death. Geri and I will always have fond memories of Mike and our prayers are with Mike and his family.

Mike, God gained an angel when He brought you home. You have always done all you could to help others with your talents and your kindness. It is that for which we are grateful that also makes us so sad to lose you. Thanks for being a blessing and leading the way.

My deepest sympathy to the Feltault family. I will always remember Michel's bright smile and the twinkle in his eye. He was a welcome regular at so many events and the most unimposing photographer. Rest in peace, sweet Michel. You will be missed.

I was shocked to hear about Mike's passing. I met him as a photographer and over the years we would meet up at the same place both taking pictures of the many faces of Minneapolis. I don't think I ever saw him without a smile and I was always imressed with the way he would command a room in matter of seconds. I'll miss him, he was a heck of a good guy.

Dear Feltault Family,
My prayers are with you in the loss of Mike. What a tremendous person, much joy and laughter he provided so many. He was kind enough to take me in his home on Portland Ave., my Senior Yr @ Clg of St. Thomas after 3 yrs, 2 of which as an RA in Ireland Hall. To make me comfortable, he even offered to have weekly Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches to replicate Father Lavin's tradition! It is MIke's joy of life I will remember most as a dear friend he was to all.
God Bless,
Mark E. Utz

I'll always remember Mike's smile and most of all his hearty laugh. He loved to laugh and always made those around him feel good. Whether at Benilde in the hallways talking about the day's challenges, or on the sidewalks on the way to or from a class at St. Thomas, Mike always shared a smile and a story or two. He will be missed. I think we're all luckier for having known him and his love of life will live on in all of us.

Jerry, Michelle, Dave and Diane, I was totally shocked when I read that Mike had died. Heart attack. I remember sitting on a side walk as a freshman at Benilde with Jerry the day your Dad died of a heart attack. It was a shock then for Jerry and I (as 15 years olds) and everyone generally.
To lose someone at so young an age. Do not know why.
I ran in to Mike at a couple of Friday luncheons with St thomas Alumni. I am a Johnnie but my father in law is a Tommie and he would drag me along to those Tommie events.
Mike was so well regarded. Totally in his element at Tommie functions.
May god bless him and your whole family.

It saddens me to hear of the loss of such a positive and wonderful person. Mike filled joy in the hearts of everyone he knew. So many times my stomach would ache and my cheeks would hurt from so much laughter every time I was with him.

I have never met anybody like Mike. He was my brother, my friend, my reference, my first call when I was in Minneapolis. He was also the first one to greet me when I was landing, the last one to wish me safe trip when taking off. He was the first to say happy birthday, the first too for Happy Christmas, Happy New year, the first to answer any question I could have, the only one I could call any time, any day when I had a problem or needed anything. He would always try to help. He could ask me anything and I would have been here for him but he never did.... I feel indebted for ever . I will never forget his smile, his voice and the look Kari was having looking at him. Those two found each other shortly before I met them and I feel blessed to have been one of the first witnesses of their love story.
Mike, (Michel you told me you were of French origin... ), rest in peace. I will miss you for ever. You were a very special person for so many of us...
