I wanted to express my deepest condolences on the loss of Micheline. She was my friend and professor at California State University, Northridge. She was so open, and cool, and hip, so smart and fun and good at what she did, we couldn't help but adore her. We students called her "maman" more often than "madame"! She and Al held wonderful parties at their beautiful Ventura home for our French Club; I still remember Al taking is around the marina on his boat on those beautiful evenings. Those were terrific times! I'm so glad she lived a long, active, involved life. I will always carry great memories of this great lady in my heart. I loved very much.

Katherine and family. I wanted to make sure I send you my condolences on behalf of the Levins. Your parents were so wonderful to all of us. When we lost our father, Burt, suddenly, they just took us under their wings. You and they were so important to us as we grew from teenagers to adults. The Sakharoffs will always have a place in our memories and in our hearts. I can hear both Micki and Al laughing, or giving their opinion on a matter. They were truly wonderful, and I know you truly miss them. Betsy Levin

Micheline could breath vitality and energy into anyone in conversation with her. Never met more enthusiastic livers of life than Al and Micheline. Their kindnesses and thoughtfulness will be remembered by all of us who were fortunate to have known them. To Katherine and all the extended family, our kind wishes. Steven Andersen, Ferndale, Wa.

Such sad, sad news but happy that she will be with Al again. My only aunt in Texas also passed on Friday at 10:30 am. It must have been a very busy time at the pearly gates. God has two beautiful new Angels at his side!
