Michelle climbed into our hearts, and she never left again. Although her get togethers were fun, our best times, with her was when we spent time alone with her. Often times, we would sit on her porch or in her gazebo and just talk. She was a great listener. We miss her. I'm so thankful our van was still on the road, before an accident totaled it, when her celebration of life was. And I'm thankful we knew Michelle.

Dear Faithful Departed Cousin: Your lesson is life is short, but not necessarily unknown. I have often felt our kinship and of course your resemblance to each of us family members in some small yet memorable way. There is love of family and there is love of character. In the case of you Michelle, both were shared with us. My leaving home and you and all family behind there has forced a kind of strength of character in myself learning to be alone on my journey. Yet, as I think of you today and whatever times together we had during your 67 years I have to vote you as gaining power of place for having stayed put. Your courage to be home plate for those of us off venturing to find peace and love around the bases of the diamond of life is what I take with me now in your leaving. Bon Voyage Michelle as you leave those living and remembering you as I do. Your courage to lead encourages me to be, as you did, all I can be. Love you Cuz. Thanks for holding my parents in your hands and heart in my absense. Ronnie

Michelle did much to ensure family came together and we are ever grateful she was and is so thoughtful of us and all her immediate and extended family for our lives are richer because of her.

My heart goes out to all of Michelle's family. Michelle was a very special person. Whenever I visited her , she and her cute dog just lifted me up! And of course her garden made me smile every time, May the memories of her keep you together!
