Linda Michelle Berry, beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at the age of 56. She was born on January 19, 1967, in her hometown of Jackson, Mississippi. Michelle's devotion to her family and her unwavering faith in God defined her life.
Those fortunate enough to have known her will remember her as a compassionate and nurturing woman who always put others before herself. She was a member of First Pentecostal Church Jackson. Michelle worked for Allstate Insurance then went to work for Farm Bureau Insurance where she worked for 26 years.
Michelle is survived by her loving husband Kevin Lee Berry, son Brannon Lee Berry (Ashley), daughter Brittany Berry Patrick (Chris), father Maurice Pittman, sister Christine Lynn Pohlhaus (John), brother Maurice "Reecy" Pittman (Heather), grandchildren Gunner Lee Berry, Greyson Timothy Berry, Mollie Reid Patrick, Christopher "Braedyn" Patrick, and Eastyn Lamar Patrick. A host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother Jeanie Pittman and grandmother Margaret Alexander.
A visitation to honor Michelle's life will be held on September 23, 2023, at the First Pentecostal Church Jackson, located at 5000 I-55 in Jackson, Mississippi. The visitation will begin at 10:30 AM and continue until 12:00 PM. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at the First Pentecostal Church Jackson. The service will commence at 12:00 PM and provide an opportunity for family and friends to gather to remember Linda's life. Private family only graveside services will follow in Lakeland Place Memorial Park in Brandon, Mississippi.
