Michelle Culp

CAMBRIA - Michelle K. Culp, 40, died Monday, July 27, 2009, at her home in Cambria.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2009, in Riggin-Pillatsch and Burke Funeral Home in Carterville, with the Rev. R.H. Chitwood officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Hall Cemetery in Lick Creek. Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Michelle was born Dec. 17, 1968, in Herrin, to Billy R. and Delta (Adams) Howell.

She married Larry Culp Sr. on Aug. 7, 1996, in Paducah.

Michelle enjoyed writing poetry, fishing, riding motorcycles, collecting things and going to rummage sales where she bought clothing that she in turn gave to charity.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Culp Sr. of Cambria; four daughters, Alicia M. Clifton and her husband, Gary, of Fort Campbell, Ky., Lorie Damron and her husband, Waylon, of Cambria, RaShay Culp of Cambria, and Brentiney Culp of Johnston City; David Culp and his wife, Crystal, of Carbondale, Larry B. Culp of James Town, N.D., Brent Culp and his wife, Jeri, of Carterville, Todd Culp and his wife, Stacy, of West Frankfort, Craig Culp and his wife, Karie, of Hurst, and Adam Culp and his wife, Catricia, of Bush; 27 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Dana and Jason Stokesbary of Georgetown, Ky.; mother, Delta Henard and her husband, Danny, of Dongola; father, Billy Howell and his wife, LaDonna, of Cambria; grandparents, Al and Colleen Horsman of Evansville, Ind., and Jim and Maxine Howell of Carterville.
