Michelle DeMarco Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 17, 2025.
Michelle Marie DeMarco, of Three Rivers, Massachusetts, passed away on the morning of September 3, 2025, at the age of 69. Born in Worcester, MA, Michelle was a lifelong artist whose creativity shaped every part of her world.

Art was not only Michelle's profession-through her work in marketing and graphic arts-it was also her passion, her way of connecting, and her way of seeing the beauty in life. Her spark, enthusiasm, and joy shone through in every painting, illustration, photograph, design, and post she shared.

A deeply spiritual soul, Michelle drew strength and inspiration from writers such as Thich Nhat Hanh, Mary Oliver, John O'Donohue, and Rumi. She lived with intention, cultivating peace and presence through her lifelong yoga and meditation practice. For many years, she taught yoga in Warren, where she touched countless lives with her guidance and encouragement.

Michelle's light will be remembered by all who knew her. She held dear her family and friends, finding simple and meaningful ways to remind them how much they mattered. In Thich Nhat Hanh's words, "we are all interconnected with everyone and everything." Michelle also found solace and inspiration in nature-she loved being outdoors snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, kayaking, hiking, nature walking, and basking in the sunshine.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Irene and Patrick DeMarco, and her brothers Daniel and Mark. She leaves behind her siblings Diane, Camille, Doug, and Pat along with sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, a great-niece, and many cousins. Michelle's family and friends will miss her dearly but will hold loving memories and carry her spirit forward in love, laughter, and creativity.

A celebration of Michelle's life will be held on September 27, 2025, at St. Paul's Cemetery in Warren, MA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the East Quabbin Land Trust, PO Box 5, 120 Ridge Road, Hardwick, MA 01037 (https://eqlt.org/support/).
