Kallin, Michelle Marie

Michelle Marie Kallin, age 58 of the town of Red Springs, passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 5, 2015, at her home.

Michelle was born July 30, 1956, in Shawano, a daughter of William and Marion (Knoke) Moede.

She attended the Neenah schools. On December 6, 1974, she was united in marriage to Ken Kallin in Neenah, WI. Following their marriage the couple lived in Menasha, until 1977, when they moved to the Gresham area. Michelle had been a homemaker and mother. Michelle was then employed as a CNA at Heartland Health Care Center in Shawano from 2001 to 2011. Michelle enjoyed her grandkids, sewing, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Ken of the town of Red Springs; her son, Ken Jr. (Lucille) Kallin of Shawano; her daughter, Ashley Kallin of Bowler; two grandchildren, Adam and Seqouia Kallin; her parents, William and Marion Moede of Gresham; her brothers and sisters, William Jeffrey (Mary) Moede of Darboy; Lori Burr of Neenah; Steven Moede of Neenah; Kay (Jeff) Hansen of Weston; Lisa (Rick) Prellwitz of Neenah; and Jason (Lona) Moede of Neenah; and many nieces and nephews. Michelle was preceded in death by her sister, Christy Moede, in 1964.

In keeping with Michelle's wishes there will be no public visitation or funeral services.

Mickelson Funeral & Cremation Service of Shawano is assisting the Kallin family with service arrangements.
