Michelle Klement Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 9, 2025.
Michelle Elizabeth Klement, 42, of Raleigh, NC, suddenly passed away on June 2nd, 2025. She was born in Richmond, VA, on November 17th, 1982, to Mike and Nancy Klement. During Michelle's childhood she grew up in Cumberland County, VA, Chesterfield, VA, and Powhatan, VA before relocating to Asheville, NC and finally moving to Raleigh, NC. Michelle was an unforgettable, beautiful ray of sunshine, who always brought a smile to your face and will be deeply missed by many.

Michelle is survived by her soulmate, Jessica Pruett, of Wendell, NC. Along with Jessica's children, Brittany and TJ, and her parents, Randy and Patricia Pruett, all of Wendell, NC. Also, three sisters; Tracey (Chris) Dragon of Hampton, VA, Danielle Klement, and Mandy (Jarrad) Adams both of Powhatan, VA, and one brother, Steve (Jenny) Smith, of Chesterfield, VA. As well as numerous nieces and nephews of different parts of VA.

Michelle is preceeded in death by her mother Nancy Klement of Cumberland County, VA, her father Eugene "Mike" (Terry) Klement of Powhatan, VA, and her baby nephew Joshua Dragon.

To know Michelle was to love her. When she was younger she had a love for horses and enjoyed every softball game she played with her dad Mike as her coach. She was a huge animal lover with a soft giving nature to any and all creatures. If you had the pleasure to know Michelle, you knew compassion, empathy, consideration, the best smile, and have had the biggest hugs ever. She loved everybody she met and was so full of life. She was a loved member of her community, always showing up with a big ol' smile, a joke, and a lending hand. Michelle was a jack of all trades, with a professional career as an over the road truck driver, enjoying the wind in her hair while traveling all over the country. Her love of music was so broad and she truly enjoyed a dancing beat, just as long and it wasn't the Spice Girls. She had an unforgettable love for her mom, dad, sisters, brother, nieces and nephews. Her love with Jessica was undeniable, making many unforgettable moments with her and her children. Michelle had a beautiful, sweet spirit you will never be able to forget.

To honor Michelle, a Celebration of Life, will be held for her at:

Michelle was there for me when I couldn't see past my darkest days; when I lost sight of who I was and where I was going. She healed others with her laughter and jokes, her wisdom and advice, and her way of accepting people as they were without needing them to be something else.
To her friends and family, words cannot express the loss I know you're feeling but I wanted you to know exactly how much of an impact she had on those around her! She continues to be an inspiration to me to keep going, keep laughing, and live each day to the fullest.

Michelle and I worked together in Asheville NC. We quickly became friends. She was such a kind soul with a smile that lit up a room. We hadn't seen each other in a long while but we talked not too long ago. Bless her heart even in her own struggle she was still concerned about me. That was Michelle, always concerned about everyone else. If only she could have seen to love herself the same as she loved everyone else. The world will be a colder one without Michelle. My thoughts and prayers are with all her loved ones at this difficult time. Michelle blessed my life with her friendship and many others she touched along the way. She is and will be missed by many.
