Michelle Loura Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 20, 2024.
September 14, 1964 - February 3, 2024

Michelle passed away on February 3, 2024. She is survived by her husband Jorge of 28 years, her sons Dylan and Kyle, her brother Steve and Sister in Law Nicole, and her mother Annie and her mother-in-law Maria.

Born in Castro Valley, CA to her mother Annie and Father Wesley "Buddy" Jones. As a young girl the Jones' moved from Fairway Park to Castro Valley. Michelle graduated from Castro Valley High in 1983. Michelle, fiercely independent, moved out at 18 to start her life early. Michelle worked different jobs throughout the years such as Barons Jewelers and Auto-Chlor Systems. Strong willed, excellent work ethic, and outstanding communication skills helped her rise up the corporate ladder in each position. Along the way she met her eventual husband Jorge, at Evans Furniture. Married in 1995, having her first son Dylan in 1996 and later Kyle in 2003. After 2007, Michelle would tackle her hardest role yet, becoming a homemaker. She thrived at it. The house was always a home with Michelle around. Every holiday was cheerful, every season brought joy, every cloudy day was bright, she made sure peace and love could be felt walking in the door.

Michelle was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend to everyone she met. Always taking an interest in her mostly "boy family" hobbies, sports and particularly 49ers football were a fun way to stay connected with everyone. She was deeply thoughtful and compassionate, yet lived her life with an open and free spirit, tied down only by her passionate love for family and friends. Michelle was always about, finding new friends to meet, new decorations for the upcoming season, and new boots to wear for the next day. She will be dearly missed, a beautiful life ended abruptly and unfairly.

We are comforted that Michelle is at peace with her father Wesley Jones and father-in-law Frank Loura.

Michelle was always the first person who would offer you a ride to pick up your car, watch your dogs or just hang out drinking coffee. She always smiled no matter what kind of day she was having. She will always be everyone´s best friend. your Monday buddy Rebecca
