It's been almost 3 months and I'm still devastated. I'm not usually affected by celebrity deaths but Michelle was different. It's so tragic and unfair. I hope her family is navigating this difficult time well.
Michelle, you had an undeniably positive impact on the lives of so many people - family, friends and fans alike, I hope you knew how much people all over the world cared for you.
I still think about you every day and I'm so terribly sorry for what happened to you. We will all sorely miss your presence on this earth, please rest in peace.

The day you passed away, it felt like a shock. Utterly incomprehensible that someone who was such a fixture in my childhood and adolescence could be gone so suddenly, so young.
I wish you had known just how much people admired you, loved your work, and genuinely were attached to the parts of you that you shared with us.
I wish people had been kinder to you online, I wish you hadn´t had to see and put up with the invasive questions people had regardless of their intentions. I wish you hadn´t had to deal with whatever took you so soon, because you had so much more to live, and so much more to give.

I grew up watching Michelle from Buffy, to Ice Princess, to 17 again to gossip girl. She was an inspiration to many young girls like myself (at the time). Any character she played she brought to life so perfectly. My absolute favorite character she has ever played was Georgina Sparks. You were so full of life, and had the most infectious smile, and your perfect soul was evident in those big bright eyes! Your joyful presence and quirkiness made you so endearing to watch, a talented actress who bought her characters to life with a roller coaster of emotions and laughter with them. Being of the same birth year, I enjoyed growing up watching watching your career, from receiving Inspector Gadget for my Birthday to Buffy, Eurotrip and beyond, you defined my formative years and my younger self definitely has a part of him missing now, and It breaks my heart that there was so much more for you and that your time was cut far too short, passing exactly one month to the day from my 40th!
But I try to remember that life isn't measured by time-it's measured by moments, and she gifted us the best ones. Always in our hearts, always our Harriet, Penny, Dawn and Jenny, and our Ice Princess! May you be in a better place and know that you bought so much life to so many and your life mattered and made ours lighter and more joyful.

They lived diagonally across the street from us at the time.
