I didn´t know Michelle, but I am inspired by her story and legacy. Aaron, I am sorry this happened and I´m sending you my best. May you find strength in the coming days and months with beautiful Sophia.

To Michelle´s family, I am so sorry for your loss. I did not know Michelle personally but have followed her posts for several years. She obviously was an extraordinary woman who loved her God, family and community. Her artistic talent was both amazing and inspirational. My condolences.

I was privileged to live and work with Michelle at Heartland Farm and was always inspired by her gentle but sturdy spirit. Her quest for community and her deep spirit were a blessing to the community and all who knew her. I send condolences to all who were in her close circle, especially her family and near friends.

Some of my fondest childhood memories are directly tied to Aunt Meesh, whether it be flying kites on the beach, watching the fireflies, or solving a jigsaw puzzle. Her joyful, fun-loving spirit has deeply imprinted my life, and I couldn't have asked for a better Aunt.

Meesh, you were like a brilliant comet that streaked across the sky on a dark night.

I was so privileged to live at Heartland Farm when Michelle was there. What a bright light she was for all of us! My sympathy to all of her loved ones. She will certainly be missed.

She was the kindest person I have ever known. Her family are in my prayers.

Your bright and shining spirit will be forever remembered and missed. My deepest sympathy for your family and friends. (big ugly crying here)

I am so grateful to have gotten to know Michelle through the flute choir at BCAPA. What a beautiful, gentle, yet determined soul - a gift to all who encountered her.
