I had watched the first doc "Bigger, Stronger, Faster" and have told so many people about it. I just watched your brothers new doc "Prescription Thugs" and was really just unprepared to hear that you had passed away. I was really shaken by it. I pray for peace for your family and friends.

Mike and me met at a bachelor party, he was such a blast! We went out for a couple dinners and beach walks, he was so interesting! I miss his bleach blond triangle above his baby carrot, he was so California. Hang ten Mike, hang ten.

I was one of Mike's first personal training clients when he worked at Gold's Gym in Newburgh,NY. I was impressed with his dedication to my training and the joy that he got in my accomplishments too. He had a gentle side that I got to see often. I will never forget him and alot of his advise. I love working out and Mike was the man that planted that seed. I still miss you Mike.

I watched the documentary "bigger, stronger, faster", and I really enjoyed it. Mike and his 2 brothers mark and chris all seemed like good, nice guys. I'm into weightlifting and the documentary inspired me to go even harder and further with it. My deepest empathy goes to the Bell family. God bless

I just watched the film 'Bigger stronger faster and wanted to find out how Mike's new life in California was going so I googled it and was so saddened and shocked to find out he passed away so young and was trying so hard. I just lost my 29 year old son to abuse so I know the depth of pain his family is going thru. I give my deepest condolences to his wife and family. I am so very sorry for your loss. Sincerely, Jacquelyn Skaggs

After seeing the documentary, getting a glimpse into the Bell's life was very inspiring and thought provoking. I was also sad to see Mike's life end short. My condolences to the family, his wife, and to the parents who seem very wise and loving. The scene where the mother shared her thoughts about being happy with the way God made us was one of the most poignant statements in the whole film. Thank God for the faith you share and please continue to trust deeply in Jesus' love.

Watched the documentary twice to take it all in, because the film is packed with information. It is solid gold. Then I was searching the net to know more about Chris Bell and his brothers, when I came across this. My feeling is a sense of empathy with the Bells. Thanks for sharing the story of your life so far.

Just watched the documentary.. what a great piece of film making\journalism. I grew up idolizing the same things and changed my life and aspirations as an adult. I absolutely understand Mike's desire to "be somebody" and how this is drilled in to us as children. I pray Mike knew Christ and am encouraged by his parents statements in the film. I also pray our Gracious Lord and Saviour comfort their hearts. Christ should be our measure our comfort and our goal. This world constantly beckons us away... but he calls us home.

I was suprised to see he had passed. My condolences go out to his family and friends who knew him on a daily basis...with pain and strugle comes hope and happiness RIP MAD DOG MIKE BELL you will be missed

Mike, you were great in all things. Especially in sorting out things in the end. You came to realize that the only thing that is important in this life is preparation for the next life. Through your achievements and your challanges you came to the realization that Salvation throuth Jesus Christ is what this life is all about. I miss you, but I am happy that you achieved eternal life. Believing and holding on to that belief through death is the only way there. Love Dad.
