GOWLAND Mike
(Thropton) The family of the late Michael (Mike) Gowland wish to express their sincere thanks to all relatives, friends and colleagues for the kindness and sympathy shown to them during their recent bereavement and also for the cards, floral and verbal tributes and letters of condolence, not forgetting George, Jean and Jackie from The Three Wheatheads and the Committee members who set the hall up so beautifully. Whilst the donations to Cancer Research UK are still being gratefully received, hopefully some good can come out of this for someone. Special thanks must go to the doctors and staff at The Wansbeck Palliative Care Unit who successfully worked so hard to grant him his wish to come home. Val Nossiter for a beautiful service and the caring Co-operative Funeralcare people for their quiet and sensitive efficiency and Bockenfield who despite their own sad loss helped us in ours.
