To the family, many, many friends, and fans of this great person who played and loved the game of football. Mr. Mike "Captain Crunch" Kolen was a Hall of Fame quarterback who led the Kansas City Chiefs to a victory in Super Bowl IV. Mr. Mike "Captain Crunch" Kolen was a linebacker with the Miami Dolphins who won two Super Bowls with the team, including during their "perfect" 1972-73 season. May you find comfort in your wealth of fond memories together with Mr. Mike "Captain Crunch" Kolen. May the love and many, many special memories you shared with your devoted loved one show how much your life was touched by him. May the God of comfort bless your grieving hearts with strength, loving kindness and peace as the world copes with the loss of Mr. Mike "Captain Crunch" Kolen. We will never forget that Mr. Len Dawson was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1985, what a tremendous goal and accomplishment.

I met Mike when I came to Auburn to plan a Crusade for Christ. He became our co-chairman and was a genuine Christian leader, influencing many to faith in Christ. A true Christian gentleman and witness for Christ. My life was better for having known him.

Rest in peace, Mike
