I knew Mike for many years through Meridian Hills Country Club. We played golf together several times. I have many Mike Perry stories, but my favorite that comes to mind is at Pebble Beach Golf Club in Carmel, California. The 18th hole at Pebble Brook is lined with the ocean all the way down the left side. I was waiting for him to re-tee his shot when I say a club helicoptering over my head and land in the ocean - it was his new driver.

Mike was a bit like another parent to me. Always gave solid advice and helped me look at things from every angle with solid open minded advice. I met him when I was 16 and he continued to be there for me for many many years and after both my parents passed his presence seemed to be even more important because he was such a GOOD SOLID HUMAN. Finding out of his passing has brought tears streaming down my cheeks.... I can still hear his voice in my head...giving me advice with a light heart even when times were bad or things were difficult. He always looked at the big picture and time and how things pass and there is a flow in life. He was a wise man...never doom and gloom! I Feel blessed that he was part of my life and my path and he was there to guide me when I needed guidance. RIP Mike .... You are Dearly Missed Already
My sincere Condolences to your Family,

Posting as a friend mostly of Mike's wife, Kathy. I mainly remember Mike as an outgoing. friendly, successful guy. He was crazy about his wife, loved going new places and enjoyed his work.
