Milana Parsons Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 10, 2025.
Milana Barbare Parsons, 50, passed away on June 2, 2025, and will be remembered fondly for the warmth and joy she brought to all who knew her.

Born in Homestead Florida, Milana's life was centered around love-especially for her family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Joshua Parsons; her three daughters: Julia Parsons and her husband Chad Weimer, April Parsons, and Allison Parsons. Her unwavering dedication to her daughters was a defining part of her life. She cherished every moment spent with them and remained a constant presence in their lives.

She also leaves behind her loving parents, Richard and Laverne Barbare; her sister Hannah and her husband Eric Baderschneider; and her brother Richard III and his wife Debbie Barbare. Milana was a beloved aunt to Amelia and Samuel Baderschneider. Her extended family includes mother-in-law Cynthia and her husband Ronald Byrd; sister-in-law Michelle and her husband Stephen Brown and their son Jai.

Milana was preceded in death by her father-in-law Michael Parsons and brother-in-law Jeremy Parsons.

Those who knew Milana will remember the sound of her laughter-bright, genuine, and contagious. Her smile lit up every room she entered, leaving an immediate impact on those around her. Whether she was baking bread from scratch or gathered around the table playing games with loved ones, Milana found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved to read and write, often finding solace in words as much as she did in the company of family.

Her caring personality touched many lives. She gave freely of herself-her time, attention, and affection-and made the world a better place simply by being in it.

A memorial service honoring Milana's life will be held on June 14, 2025, at 11:00am at Fellowship Greenville, 3161 S. Hwy 14, Greenville, SC 29615.

Milana Barbare Parsons will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.

This will be a very emotional day for Milana's family and friends. Her sudden loss is so heartbreaking. But Milana's love and memories will live on in all of us. She was a beautiful person just like her loving sister Hannah, my daughter- in- law. I ask God for comfort and support for the whole family.

I can't find the words to express how much Milana will be missed. Our weekly conversations about work always turned to conversations about her family. She so loved you all. She was a bright light who always brought happiness and smiles. She was so proud of her girls. I will miss our laughs. Wishing you all love and strength.

Our hearts ache at the loss of Milana, especially knowing how much of an impact she made on this world and to the people who loved her. It was an honor getting to know her through our connection to Hannah. Together, they were a force of nature. Days going forward will never be the same. Nothing but prayers and love to everyone, now and always.
